Clinical effect of obturator Nerve block on TUR-B surgery under general Anesthesia

Abstract
|
|
|
A Clinical study was made 10 cases of obturator nerve block on bladder cancer surgery under General anesthesia. The patient´s were divided into 2 Group. Group 1; Without 0.5% Bupivacaine injection for control Group 2 ; With 0.5% Bupivacaine injection.
The following results were as follows.
A Comparision with the control group, Group 2 ; In case of Group 1, most of the patient´s occured moderate jumping of the leg from stimulation of the obturator nerve block by low-frequency currents induced from the diathermy. but In case of group 2, most of the patient´s did not occur jumping of the leg.
In conclusion, obturator nerve block under the General anesthesia was valuable method for prevention of complication on treatment of the bladder cancer.
